This Privacy Policy describes how Loyal Contractors (“Loyal Contractors”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use https://loyalcontractors.com, a contractor-matching service for Portland Metro, Oregon and surrounding areas.

2. Information we collect

• Contact details — your name, phone number, and email address.
• Project details — the service you need, project description, location (city/ZIP), budget range, and any photos you upload.
• Account data — login email and a securely hashed password if you create an account.
• Usage data — device, browser, pages viewed, and similar technical information collected automatically.

3. How we use your information

• To review your request and match it with contractors serving your area.
• To contact you about your request by phone, SMS, or email (see “Consent to be contacted” in our Terms).
• To operate, secure, and improve the service.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. How we share your information

Your contact details are shared only with the contractors matched to your request so they can reach you about the project. We also share information with service providers who host and operate the platform on our behalf (e.g. cloud hosting, storage), under confidentiality obligations, and when required by law.

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers. Contractors who receive your information are independent businesses and are required to use it only to respond to your request; their subsequent handling of your information is governed by their own privacy practices.

5. Text messages and calls

If you provide a phone number, we and matched contractors may call or text you about your request. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of further texts from that sender. Opting out of communications may limit our ability to complete your match.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to save in-progress requests. If we use analytics tools, they collect aggregate usage statistics; we do not use cross-site advertising trackers on the request form.

7. Data retention

We keep project requests and account data for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time (see “Your rights” below); some records may be retained where the law requires.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Depending on your state of residence (including rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar state laws in Oregon, Washington, and elsewhere), you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
